Short Story Submissions (DELETE)

How to Submit?

Send your submissions in a Word document to: words@fiction-factory.biz  quoting your PayPal transaction number.

Send a maximum of 5,000 words of your First Chapter only. (If your opening chapter is longer, send the entire chapter but clearly mark the 5,000 word point). In the same document, send a one-page synopsis (not included in the word-count).


Attach it as a Word document to an email, saved with the title of the novel.  In the body of the email, please include your name, email address, name of your novel and the Pay Pal transaction number.

Please tell us how you heard about our competition.

We’d also love it if you could send a few words about yourself!

Entry:

Payment: Please go to the secure website to pay by Pay Pal.
Your entry will be forwarded to the judges on receipt of your Pay Pal payment notification

  • The Competition is open to anyone aged 16 or over.
  • International entries are welcome but stories must be written in English.
  • Stories must be previously unpublished
  • Deadline: July 31st ,2024.
  • There is no minimum word count but stories must not exceed 3,000 words.
  • All genres will be accepted except Children’s and Young Adult Fiction
  • Entrants may submit as many stories as they wish, see multiple story fees discounts above
  • All work submitted must be the entrant’s own original writing, and should not have appeared in print or appear on a website (including blogs and social networking sites).
  • Winners will be announced in October, 2024
  • The judge’s decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
